- First Synchronization:The first time you activate the application, when you press the Sync button your phone data is copied to the web server.
By default only contacts, calendar and tasks are copied to the server. Multimedia files should be selected manually. To copy also all your multimedia files
check the all files button in the setting /backup settings menu.
- Next time Synchronization:The next time you press the Sync button only information that has been changed since last sync is transferred.
This would include additions, modifications and deletions of data items made in the phone and in the Sync storage in the web server. Deleted item
will be sent to the Deleted items archive.
- Sync & Backup:When you press the Sync & Backup button in the main menu the application first perform sync operation with the web server,
following a copy of the sync archive is copied to the backup archive. The new backup file entitled the date and time when the operation took place.
- Restore all data: To restore all your data to the phone click the explore button from the main menu, select your preferred backup archive and press restore.
Data items that are stored in the backup archive and are not presented in the phone will be copied to the phone. This action is very useful in case you loss all your phone
data or when you move to a new device.
- Restore deleted items:To restore deleted items to the phone click the explore button from the main menu, select Deleted items archive, then select Contacts or Files folder,
select the deleted item and press Restore. The item will be copied to your phone.
- Moving to a new phone:To copy all your data to a new phone click the explore button from the main menu, select your preferred backup archive and press restore.
Your new phone can be of other firmware or model, just make sure that the new phone is in the supported devices list. The Web server will identify your new device eliminating
the time and hassle of manual adjustments.
- Automatic backup:The application is configured to manual backup. You can go to Cellebrite OTA mobile application website
to set to automatically backup. You can schedule your backup by clicking the preferred day and time cells on the weekly table.
When time arrives an SMS WakeUp notification will be sent to your phone to triggers the backup process.
- Selecting items to backup: The application is configured to backup Contacts, Calendar and selected files, enabling you to choose manually images,
videos and voice files. You can change the defaults by checking or clearing the checkbox of each item in the Backup settings menu.
- User details:After you download the application you must activate the service. In the User Details menu enter
your mobile phone and the password you received from your service provider.
Press the Save button to make your new selection effective.
